Like to add a few more to it. Other posts mentioned numbers and earnings. They refer to cancer numbers per year that will use this new treatment by MRI. No it’s not only just cancer numbers it’s more as the greatest number is those that didn’t show up with cancer. I expect of all those that see a GP with suspect condition only about 5% to 10% will light up on the screen with cancer. So the 60,000 scanned for cancer would actually be over 600,000 total scanned. The removal of the biopsy in the path way is a huge cost removed as a hospital theatre hire, specialist staff used and the biopsy assessment are huge costs especially in the US.
One scan by MRI much cheaper.
These nano particles need to be a specific size and accuracy must be at or less than 1% for them to work. Bob has said they have patents in place but for this they had a trade secret in place as well. Very good move Bob.
Another area missed on is if this new MRI type screening is as good as they now say then developed nation will include in cancer screening. They general target the older age groups for this and for breast and prostate say in the US alone this becomes a huge number. If you say 10% target male and female, only half bother so 5% that’s around 20 mil people but on a 10 year cycle it then averages to 2 mil scans per year. One can dream. With 30000 machines operating out there now all IBX have to do is provide the little vials of the good stuff at small cost, Bob is right to now prioritise this pathway. Like you say the portable scanner in time I will be a top up bonus for this company.
