It is not the responsibility of Government to necessarily compensate anyone for changes to policy
Changes to Govt policy can affect the cost of healthcare, education, mining, banking, housing....it affects the hip pocket of millions of people/investors in different ways depending on their circumstances and choices
Did anyone who benefited initially from the loosening of restrictions decades ago have to pay a premium for their gains?
Do people investing in solar and alternatives have to pay a premium on their gains because govt's around the world are giving those technologies a leg up?
