I would agree with "If that is the case then I dont like their chances of getting it back"

Then who is sitting in the box seat, seeing that FAR has got the DATA? Instead of losing out on the 75%, we could very well have 100% and do our own farm down, I think that the relationship with CNOOC was formed for exactly this sort of situations.

The only thing I don't like ATM is the fact that TOTAL trumped 6 other companies (if you can believe what you read) and at a lower price for A1 and A4. The minister was dismissed (on the surface) because he was in favor of the the higher paying candidates (so it seems) and that would have been the right thing to do.

Is the president just thinking of the long term for his country? If so then he should remember what FAR contributed to date. Hope so for the next lot of signatures.
