Did you manage to find a patent or patent application by either Dorfner or RNU? Because if they don't have a patent application or a patent, then the objection is most likely around the process not being novel and inventive. That being the case and even if Dorfner or RNU were to have their objection upheld, then it wouldn't impact on the project in the fashion you assert. It would just mean that EGR couldn't licence their process.
