I bought into EGR in 2021 (somewhere around 50c) and I’ve ridden the red tidal wave ever since. But th e company’s continued advancements in the project (despite begrudged management and delays) and continued interest on both exchanges have reassured me that this is a worthy long term investment (perhaps just not a great short or medium term one).

I’ve continued to average down EGR over the years because some things remain extant. They’re building their facilities. The CAGR of graphite is expected to be 4-8% depending on which forecast you read. The cost of natural graphite (~ $10000 pt) makes synthetic (~$20000 pt) less competitive. However Oreon forecasts “potential 1.2-million-metric-ton supply shortage [of NATURAL graphite] in 2030, rising to 8 million tons by 2040.” That will push the natural price closer to synthetic making it not just a higher quality choice (and in EGR’s case a greener one) but also a more economical choice. I’m not so concerned they aren’t producing just yet - the operating costs are still comparatively high and profits are likely to be lower.

But that will change - and EGR may just commence large-scale production at the best time.

So I’ll average down again and see if I can’t help you get your 13c wish.
