My guess is the announcement of a JV is likely to happen anytime now because the PM will be back from Japan and Labor will be looking to take credit for the project. It’s a fantastic project to use to promote as their renewables policies kicking goals from day one. Both Australia and France will use the moment to promote them as having repaired their relationship, and happy days all round.
Long term holders know though this has been an incredibly long time coming and it’s really the WA government that deserves credit for their foresight (amongst others). It will be very interesting to see how it plays out
