This event must have occurred at least 10 days ago so it is likely that people were trading ahead of any official announcement of the trouble at Otter Juan. The overall poor market conditions would make it hard to say for sure, but yes, I'd say this has been contributing to the weak share price over the last two weeks.
There will be a release on new exploration results shortly, perhaps that will offset things a bit.
Unless they are spectacular, I'd expect continued SP weakness.
