I had the pleasure to read the discussion about Afterpay and more specifically their business model. I found the discussion remarkable, especially with the inputs from @ValueTrader82

That said, I have noticed that there is little conversation about what Touchcorp can do with Afterpay after the merger.
I do understand that cross-selling will be a key focus, but there is little talk about the Touchcorp product strategy. The reason I am interested in this is because Afterpay is about to purchase a technological platform that can process more than only Afterpay transactions.

I also have concerns about the cultural aspect of the merger. I understand that Touchcorp and Afterpay have been doing a lot of work together. That said it doesn't mean that the Touchcorp staff will appreciate working with the new management team, leadership style can change and have an impact on staff. It wouldn't be the first time that a merger fails because of a poor cultural fit.


My question to the audience are the followings; what is your take on the evolution of the Touchcorp platform after the merger? Finally, did anyone publicly ask questions to management about the cultural aspect of the merger? Meaning, is the Touchcorp/Afterpay staff happy about the merger?
