    The technology is all there. Reportedly held back during the nuclear dawn because governments wanted the plutonium by-product during the arms race.

    Thorium is a better fuel source than Uranium for so many reasons and in light of the carbon free nuclear renaissance stalled by Fukashima, now would seem the time for Thorium to become the preferred option for big MW baseload supply.
