Hi Prime - apologies if I was sidetracked - was considering the demand/supply issue from a global perspective.
Incoming supply could certainly make graphite addition popular and substantially more economical than the world has experienced in recent times - could lead to significant uptake in graphitic products that may have prior to been price affected by the supply price side.
BASF Neopor uses graphite addition to its foams which substantially increase performance and importantly reduce required thicknesses -

looks to have significant application in fire suppression/retardancy as an intumescent/or additive to existing fire boarding/protection, so not just in the 'stuff in your roof' application..
I would imagine that secured supply and the government's desire to want to increase energy efficiency (Graphite jacks the R value of materials up significantly) should make it economical for China to utilise. American prices are interesting as all markets are in play for TON/all players (i think unless there are export covenants/restrictions in any deals)... all in all Prime, the graphite space looks peppered with marketable opportunities...I could however be completely wrong...
