cobber321, good to hear from a fellow shooter, and my calibre is .308, and minimum is 300yards out to a 1000yards. I shoot at Belmont range using peep sights, just looking through apertures, and electronic targets with monitors that tell me in an instant where my shot went. I was overseas when the new gun laws were brought in, and when I heard that .22 repeaters joined the banned list of larger calibre rifles, I was dumbfounded.
The .22 cal is an ideal small vermin firearm that farm youngsters get to use and learn the safe use of firearms. I still believe that here in Australia we have a great depth of quality marksmen who do give other countries a challenge in major competitions around the world, mainly Bisley in the UK. vote ! ALA
