What does enjoying the Tour have anything to do with being or not being an Aussie?

I take it that means guys like Stuart O'Grady, Cadel Evans, Simon Gerrans, Matthew Goss, Mark Renshaw and Richie Porte are somehow less Australian for competing in it too?

Can you watch this interview and still say Stu is less than a full blooded Aussie?

We watch the Tour to watch the Aussies do well and thousands of Aussies head over there to support them during the race, just like any other sport Aussies compete in.

It's ok to not like the sport but suggesting it's somehow un-Australian is as narrow minded as it gets.
