The comments that have been made by senior fire fighting figures indicate that this year's season is far worse than any before & that fuel reduction burns although would have made some difference would not have prevented the massive fires that have occurred. ie even following the RC recommendation would not have prevented loss of property or lives.
This is the reality of the future hence the call to stop the blame game whether that be 'greenies', governments, parks service or arsonists. Their is no complete solution to this problem, everyone must work together to manage the situation we now face ourselves in.
