That's exactly the same response as me. I was expecting a little more "corporate speak" but he gave a genuine answer that was personal to him. I sometimes forget that some people in business just don't helicopter in on a high wage when the dealing has been done and the company is a mature one. They instead build the company from nothing to something through graft and sacrifice. The 'building' is the prize - not the salary. Mark strikes me as that character, for better or worse, and I'm happy to invest my hard earned into such a man within the context of this company. Granted - he is the second largest shareholder so if this does what we all know it could do then he'll have the multigenerational wealth that many of us can only dream of!!!
