    hmmm,

is there a risk that unleaded petrol gets confused with leaded or diesel?

bpa plastic with non bpa plastic

    fibro with hardiflex

hmmmm - there is always a possibility for everything - but, there are also always possibilities for marketing advantages with things like this.

Pictures of kids effected by chemicals just moved a nation -

pictures of burnt kids and kids with toxin problems can also move people - towards safer products.

it's all marketing - and, this is where Nick Clark comes in- this is an area where he is working on the Hill - I guess it's why it's so important. All IMO of course.

One would hope that Congress - judging by the bipartisan push for the new act passed - has grown up on these issues a bit -

we shall see of course - but, really - I don't see the industry turning away from Flame Retardants -

    why?

    INSURANCE AND LITIGATION

    - even more potential than marketing to the public here -

If you sell retail products that burn people - injure them or kill them AND there is a safe FR available - then, you are a goner.

If you continue to use a FR product that is known to be toxic - when there is a safe alternative -

then, my guess is - you are also a goner.

All IMO - but, we shall see how the legal challenges to the new act pan out.
