Remember some of the names you called me because I supported HEVs and PHEVs? You said BEVs would dominate.
So now you change is not some sort of admission called for.
As I said years ago. Some day EVs will be the only cars made. The step change from ice to EVs is just to large on many fronts. That is why HEVs and PHEVs will dominate as a transition vehicle. But you always said "BEVs or Bust" I guess your busted.
Remember much of the projected Perm magnet use that was forecasted was based on traction motors Like tesla used. Most of which are > 500KW per vehicle. Using your numbers it will take 3~ 4 Toyota's to create the same PM demand as one Tesla Y.
