With half a mil vehicles potentially involved and if tjhis case is successful, it could mean $1.4 Billion + fines in Aus alone!
Globally Toyota sells about 10 million vehicles P/A and 250,000 in Aus (2.5% of its total global sales.)
If this costs Toyota say $1.4 billion in Aus then if its diesel mix of vehicles sold globally is similar to Aus ,
then this could pan out at $56 Billion + fines......nothing to sneeze at....eh?
