This issue is about a major global mauufacturer whohas beentrusted by
the Federal Office of Road Safety to provide truthful and accurate emissions data in order
to gain type approval under the MVSA 89 as amended.

If the company has wittingly lodged the diesel exhaust emissions data
for the models/years concerned knowing it to be false , than that's simply fraud
and it should be of concern to all law abiding Aussies.

Toyota has been the beneficiary of $100s of millions of taxpayers funds over the past under the
now defunct Federal Car Manufacturing program and even while it was receiving
Government assistance it was fined $200 Million by the ATO for alleged transfer pricing

And recently Toyota has been investigated by our ACCC on vehicle warranties that did not meet
Australian Consumer Law standards ;
