    VW was the first to be sprung in the USA so I guess since they , with Toyota, have been either # 1
    or #2 in the western market for over a decade now. This is why the outing of Toyota now and not earlier
    is interesting IMO.

    IMO every CEO/Chairman of a diesel vehicle manufacturer should have been alerted to the possibility
    that they too may be involved after VW was sprung in Sept 2015.

    The alleged Toyota cheat happened after 2015 so, IMO Toyota management was slack
    not to do a comprehensive audit then to ascertain if they were doing it too.

    The test seemed to be easy.......collect the data under the standard emissions check and then
    test on the road under real operating conditions.....compare/contrast the two.
