It was only 10 days ago (according tomy research) that Toyota announced it was moving into manufacturing hybrids with Li batteries. Toyota has stuck exclusively with Ni-Hydride prior to this revelation. Nothing could be more indicative of the future for Li powered vechiles than world leader in hybrids crossing-the-floor. Afterall toyota has a huge investment in Ni-H. battery production.
Another pleasing thing is that ORE note that 'after months of discussion'they reached agrement with Totota. Undoubtedley they would have spoken with oter manufacturers incl. Nissan. Yet word of a pending agreement with a large car manufacturer was not leaking into the mkt and today's announcement was a complete surprise. Even Monday's volumes were very low. All this enhances my confidence in ORE's management and everything in today's presentation is positive. Esp the dates for DFS and Li production. It's def 'full power ahead'... Lithium powered naturally.
