It's bad news for suburbs already struggling out that way like Point Cook, Werribee etc...where most of these workers probably live, hopefully they pay down debt with the severage pay and steer clear of the casino. For some people, especially the low income earners and less educated, having money tied up in a house is the only way to protect themselves from themselves.
