Interesting to read the background of the Canaccord Genuity Analyst Luke Smith.

Luke has spent the past nine years as an Analyst and Fund Manager in capital markets having most recently worked at Ord Minnett as a senior mining analyst. Prior to moving onto the sell side as an analyst, he was a fund manager and analyst for six years with the Lion Selection Group of companies. His roles at Lion included analyst for Lion selection, assistant Fund Manager for African Lion and Co-Fund Manager for Asian Lion private equity funds.

Who is the second largest shareholder of Kasbah? African Lion Fund. Given African Lion Fund took a position in Kasbah more than 7 years ago (presumably when Luke Smith was involved) its probably fair to assume he has a higher than average level of analyst knowledge of the company. Although he is not an individual shareholder per his disclosure in the research note.

Anyway not earth shattering stuff but always interesting to see the connections.
