Yes, but $65-70 was "in sight" back in 2016. It's currently trading well below that mark 7 years on. 2016 was a period of low interest rates and normalised inflation. The price of ham, cheese, pepperoni etc has sky rocketed. Let alone the price of bread (wheat) and the upward spiral of fuel costs (again).
So let's assume that inflation and interest rates does come under control, then maybe $65-$70 is a plausible dollar figure. They're extending their market into places like Cambodia where a pizza has to compete with a bowl of Nom Banh Chok.
Dominos over-earnt during covid and all we are seeing right now, is the true value of the business with a healthy dose of reversion to the mean. Even CKF has been a much better performer than DMP at half the price.
Go figure.
