I would imagine that will be the case. US EPS is slightly hire than analysts forecast and revenue slightly lower and immediate reaction is normally dependent on whether you did better not. That is the reality of the working of share markets whether we like it or not.
In few days time the actual results will be analysed. Strangely US SP went up slightly as the earnings are pretty good compared to last year. Company also talked about Uber tie up expecting to capture $1B of sales per year in the future when completely implemented. Many analysts have confirmed their forecast for US shares around $440 after the results.Forward PE of USA is around 28 in line with th industry average, which is applicable to Australia too. With reasonable growth forecasted, PE is reasonable in my opinion for Australia too.As EPS for coming year is forecasted between 1.75 to 2.00, I would imagine Australian shares should go up over next few months by good %.
