It's amazing. A few months ago all the well-known fund managers were recommending TPG was undervalued. During this period its price fell from about $7. In more recent times they have reversed their call and claim that TPG is overvalued. (Just check its company data to know that this is a strange call.) But wait, in the last week it has been creeping up, in spite of these claims of being overvalued. So has it hit bottom and started its climb back to a fair price? Time will tell, but whatever its pretty clear that the fund managers get it wrong and they seem to be the last/slowest movers. Its almost as if investors would do better to do the exact opposite to what the well-known funds managers advise.
