I've only just noticed a specific detail in POH’s pipeline as outlined on the new website.
Until now we have been given little information re the undisclosed TPM IV antibiotic for which Mylan has worldwide marketing rights.
I note that the pipeline states that the product is indicated for complicated skin and skin structure infections (cSSSI).
A few months ago I speculated that the identity of the antibiotic was either Zyvox (linezolid) or Avelox (moxifloxacin). It seems that both of these antibiotics are indicated for cSSSIs, but the literature suggests that linezolid is generally preferred/ more frequently prescribed for this condition than moxifloxacin.
