This video at the 7m mark gives a good explanation about the intended diamond formation with satellites an equal distance from each other (“obviously”) and a satellite from one orbital plane being in the mid point of the 2 satellites in the other orbital plane. None of the satellites are in that formation yet. I believe KSM got into that formation for a short time but has not been for some time. Currently spread out quite some distance.
The Hawkeye 360 formation of 3 appear to be a pretty tight triangle and much closer together.
