ASIC have handed complete control of the ASX to a handful of algo traders who now set prices arbitrarily while ASIC busies itself with prosecuting mom and pop investors ("the marks") (or as per last weeks case: a father and daughter) with price manipulation for doing EXACTLY what ASIC have given the algo traders carte blanche to do.

It is absolutely disgusting for a government body to drop the ball like this and betray Australian citizens in favor of big corporate overseas interests and it has shattered my confidence in Australian society.
