Surprise surprise, everybody automatically assumes this is going to be a great announcement!
From the eyes of a realist.
Normally when a sp tanks and the stock goes in to a TH, I would assume the worst as its normally the insiders selling out before the bad news. However, given the broader markets performance, this could just be a coincidence and therefore I dont assume the worst in this case. Although it cant be totally discounted.
The fact that the company went into a TH on Friday and is not waiting the 2 full days before making the announcement makes me think that it might just be positive news. Plus the wording of the announcement hints towards a positive result.
So, I think it is still an eachway bet at this stage, with a slight bias towards some shareholder respite. If it is, the timing is unfortunate as they would need one hell of an upward revision for any sustained sp rise.
It will be interesting to see nonetheless. Good luck to those that still hold.
