thanks for comments practicingaccountant - i have been following trades on this is last few weeks with the multi 100k bidder seeeming to offer support a few ticks below the current SP. Yesterday was one out of the box with the buys coming in and he/she was very keen to bid higher - i figured he was accumulating but the accum/distributor indicator shows it coming off a little over last 3 months. Only thing that figures is they were accelerating to the top of the trend channel (from Apr11) which would then speed up the declines as you point out.
