Seems fairly apparent that even without the news report at the start of this thread an acquisition would be the logical step if the research being conducted was producing a result. If there was a breakthrough why would anyone ever allow their competition to work with the same company and potentially discover the same technology. The fact they have still not been acquired shows that while they must be making progress, they obviously still have nothing that is currently of marketable value to anyone. It may be a double whammy as the involvement with current clients, and particularly the progressing of the Jasnssen deal may put new clients off knowing their new partner could either share their ideas, or worse be bought out half way thro the deal. Problem seems to be that this company needs to decide weather it wants to be bought by a current client- in which case they should pull their finger out and hit some big milestones. Alternatively if they want to keep banding their wares around to all and sundry they should cut ties with the financial advisors as this shows they may not be around long enough to follow through on a new deal. Do one or the other but trying to do both seems to be causing the current stagnation???
