Not kidding. There was a time when I thought like you. Now that I have aged and developed a social conscience I tend to appreciate the needs of others as much as I appreciate my own. As an example; I buy "branded" milk and not supermarket discounted milk because a local farmer only survives because of the premium he receives from branded sales. He makes no profit on the house brand discounted milk. In return the dairy sells me a premium product that actually has a higher "solids not fat" content.
Maybe "Made in USA" would even be a premium product ?
Could you also define what you mean by "polite company".
