You seem to have hit the nail on the head. Except I don't get the file access denied message on the TG host screen, for me the chart just simply doesn't attempt to open. For example say I click on BHP, it's like the mouse button doesn't even work and nothing happens at all. However I spent an hour or so playing around with it this morning opening and closing charts with no drama, and then sure enough as soon as I open my metastock platform the TG platform freezes down. I feel like a bit of a twat really, I can't believe I never put 2 and 2 together and worked this out for myself and believe me I have spent many hours trying to sort this problem out before I gave up on it. I guess it was all part of my start up process where I would open TG, open metastock and open my cfd platforms before doing anything else.
