Thanks nursery, you have cleared up a lot for me.

I had suspected that it worked the way you describe, but the way posters talk about traders, it's as if these nasty traders are all buying and selling at the right time (or at least not at the wrong time).

Your last comment about 90% of traders losing money has given me some heart and now I don't feel so bad about sitting and watching this stock go through its gyrations. I've got a good wad of these shares and I go from king to pauper in a day, and back again later. I should go on holidays and come back in 12 months.

I can't see any solid gains until decent distributions start again. That will bring the investors back. Till then I fear it will live life as the plaything of traders.
