hi all - i have been of the air for the last four day
so shorting the retailers - that's the way to go, I think -
over the last week I have accumulated shorts on MYR, 7.3 bites and HVN,6.5 bites the average open price for both being very close to the tops of their trading bands, they are going ok as of today ...... the ABS latest figures on retail sales comes out
this week also.....
my thee oil stocks have moved only sideways over the last 2 - 3 weeks ...... its not what I expected given that the price of oil has remained around $US125/ $US 126.00 a barrel, and the warring in Iraq continues.....so I have got rid of OSH and AWE, just WLP to go .... there will be a tiny loss o/a....
I got my 1.8% quarterly distribution for Q4 from FET which on 10 bites is ok..
I also scanned for retailers for over $300m capitalization and have bid to short four of these to add to five other short bids also....., just small amounts to start for most of these ....
the stocks are JBH, QAN,KAR, PDN,KMD, MTS, BRG, FLT, MQA short and long
