I suspect that the board is either out of its depth when dealing with corporate financiers or where just plainly ignorant of the SP implications of a few very sloppy CR deals. (my opinion only)
Part of the boards responsibility is to try and manage the company share register, SP and subsequent market cap. If they havnt got the skills to do that it makes the rest of their job that much more difficult. IMO it is quite evident that they are very poor in that area but have been quite good in most other areas.
AH you have gots buckleys chance of being successfull when the PEK register is full of short term traders. You now have a tangible asset in the initial jorc that you should be able to negotiate with. When your talking the talk be diligent and make sure your not going to be dealing with low margin traders again.
