CLOSED TRADES -
HVN - short, 1.5 bites - small loss (but gain on day)
the FINANCIAL stocks all seemed to gap upwards at open and just stayed there, so with the market in that mood I was pleased to be able to close out my short on SUN at just a smidgeon above close price on Friday.
I made a number of bids on energy stocks, none were taken up.... the oil and gas stocks gapped up at open also (due to price of oil) , but came back..
SUN - short, 2 bites - loss
CSL - long, 2 bites -bought and sold - loss
this one tricked me, even though I bought it at the bottom edge of its trading band
it spiked down sharply causing me to close it out on its way..... I have another bid (long)
30c. further down, anticipating that it will be just a brief downward spike within its
upward trend, as was the case 5 weeks ago.
