7 of my 8 short trades went down today, which is good. Only BSL is bucking the trend. My other shorts at present are BHP, CBA, MQG, NAB, RIO, TLS, and WES. My best performing short is TLS so far.
At present I am not ready to increase the volume on this set of shorts, but the outlook is promising.
I haven't checked my charts today as I finished work late today. However, after another beer and something to eat, I will have a look at the charts. Last month I gave the bulls plenty of opportunity to hit 2000 on the SPX, and even opened long trades myself. However, now I suspect that the bulls have done their dash. Hence, my tendency at the moment is to the short side. I have no preference for long trades or short trades .... whichever will make me money. Good luck.
