current list of my most recent thinking after the recent big drop in the markets a week ago was, as the markets were in strong uptrend to generally go long and buy value with strong forcast eps gth........ going long on the asx market, i use my own money so i am not so limited in picking stocks of lower capitalisations providing there is reasonable liquidity ...... it is in this area that i have done reasonably well in the past...... although the effects of what is going on in the Ukraine have now caused me to pause.......
the amounts held in each stock varies from medium to small to very small giving me the flexibility to double up if i consider that i am now buying even more cheaply.....
stocks held at the moment are- FET, RCG, MML, GXY, IAG, BEN, ANZ, CBA
shorts are MYR & HVN.
the 3 banks i have retained are loosing a little but genally the overall portfolio is steady...
I would also when flem gets time to do his real job - seems to be more betting and boozing to me .....
