We are having early spring weather here in Melbourne with lovely sunny days - even though it's still officially winter.....we are going to go for a drive in the countryside this afternoon ...... there's a great pie shop at warburton on the upper reaches of the yarra river...... also my grandson plays off in the U12's grand final on sunday - go Whitehorse colts......
longs - FET, IAG, RCG , WEB, TGA......
all going well and showing a good profit - although no gains in the last few days....
TGA - a new addition is in the household goods rental market - "radio rentals", and has good value and growth credentials....
shorts - MYR & HVN, FMG, Australia cash 200, china H shares
HVN - fy results out, extraordinary increase in profits, was stopped out for a medium loss...... FMG - added and is going OK due to low iron ore prices ...... Australia cash 200, china H shares - just little flutter on each of these yesterday due to the markets being now at high levels - breaking even....... MYR - still waiting for FY results to come out ...... I am less confident now and sold down a third portion of my holding (at loss) just in case we get another huge profit jump as with HVN, ie reducing my exposure......
