Its definitely correct that there are a lot of punters hurting this morning.

Had dinner last night with people who absolutely know first hand from a top 10 broker.

Ocker is correct - the system is such that the broker is ultimately responsible so some of them are faced with relatively huge numbers of punters unable to settle - rumour has it Commsec is the main victim, but the full service have plenty of their own also. They are most likely going to carry the client and hit them for interest so they aren't too worried. I suspect Commsec will simply suspend the accounts though its a rather unusual circumstance so they might be careful to protect their market image in this case.

Might be a different matter if the stock eventually opens and doesn't go up, LOL!!
