    The broker will need to settle the contract and then get his money back from the buyer by selling any other shares he holds or getting him to cough up cash.
    If in any way these contracts do not settle the seller will have a case to sue his broker for the full amount of the sale plus interest.
    If the seller does not get his money the ASX will lose lose a great deal of face and confidence from the investment community.
