The Monday open was a bit of disaster and we can thank the guys from Euroz for that. In the first 30 mins (10.30am), total of 19m units changed hands. 4m units of which were tagged as a special crossing by Fosters - Crossing code used was “Special Crossing Trade Equity and Interest Rate Securities”. My guess here is they fked this one up and meant to use SP Special crossing but who knows ..

Euroz sold off 4.1m in the first 30 mins and were very aggressive in pushing the price down in a big hurry, total done of the day by these clowns was 8.1m units. Conclusion I hope they had instructions to do ½ in the first 30 mins or else they are terrible (make that woeful) operators

Interestingly - Most of the buying on Monday came from Macquarie Insto who amended an order at 12.13pm from 87519 to 3887519 and bit into the market @ 39 and into the Patterson offer of 4.5m units @ 39.5 (placed at 12.08pm) and appropriated approx 3.5m units. Macquarie then crossed 2.2m units 20 seconds later and Comsec hoovers up the balance of the Paterson order (850k approx). This accounted for almost ½ of Mac’s volume traded on the day. Nice work !

I’ve had a look at Tuesday but it’s hard to pick up much due to low volumes but. Top broker in this stock all week is Comsuk who have been buying up big time, you’d have to assume it’s retail. I can’t tell yet who went bananas on Wednesday and pushed it up almost 30% but I can tell you that the biggest vol was with Comsuk with 23% (can’t tell yet if it was on the buy or sell side), next in line was CSFB with 14% (can’t tell yet if it was on the buy or sell side)
