with a fresh set of eyes I think you have summed up the current situation pretty well JONGO..... good to have you back and I hope your lot had a great holiday in NEQ - although the weather wasn't initially all that welcoming..... perhaps we might get to hear some snippetts ?
Citigroup and Morgan Stanley's lowering of their expectations in earnings for some of the banks, and a further decent fall in the iron ore price to $US 108.00 set the scene for a big drop in the markets today..... premarket and half an hour in everything was looking great, and then the rot set in....
IAG & WBC - (sold half of each yesterday) both skyrocketed in the first half hour and then came back sharply to take out my raised bids.
IAG - long, 4 bites ............GOOD GAIN (nil today) tricked by markets to buying back in today
WBC - sold all -(4 bites + 2 - 6 bites)..GOOD PROFIT sold when I saw share price moving sharply down.
WBC - long, 2 bites ...................EVEN bought just before close, after the SP had plummetted
HVN - long, 2 bites ...........................SLIGHT GAIN an unlikely purchase of a low bid in a plummeting market
MSB - short, 3 bites ....................GOOD GAIN (further gain today)
FMG - moved down sharply again today with the other iron ore producers (not holding just an observation)
