AIG - long, 6 bites - sold ------------------- MEDIUM LOSS long, 4 bites - bought back much cheaper.... i am not sure how much the cylclone in north queensland affects the profits or SP - play this by ear. the stock is very cheap at the moment .. - SLIGHTLY DOWN
MML - long, 4 bites - bought cheaply ----------WELL DOWN (this stock should be well up with the POG @ 1326 to 1320 today, and world markets calmed + tensions in the Ukraine. - but infact well down ??? don't get this one.)
SEH - long, 1 bite - sold -------------------- MED. PROFIT
WBC - long, 6 bites - held on to these also -- SLIGHTLY DOWN
(with the AUD now into the 94's and markets calmed this is another one that should be moving up strongly)( ?? HVN - LONG, 2 bites - held on to these also -- MED.UP
JHX - short, 4 bites - position closed ------- GOOD PROFIT
MQA - long, 3 bites - held on to this also --- MED. DOWN
after preparing last night for another day of downs, this morning i found the markets in a much more friendly shape of mind, so I closed out all my shorts, cancelled others previously laid and placed a number of long positions...... a number of my longs which i held on to came back.
so from what could have been some large losses the situation is mostly retrieved and my panic over the recent big falls in the US has now abated a bit but I am still on alert, and better prepared for further sharp changes in the markets - I think.
