    The 40 trades at 10.04 were the opening auction trades ... going through on open for that stock ... could be less buyers than sellers, or the other way round .. but there were 40 trades (or thereabout)

    The closer to the start of the alphabet your stock is ... the closer to 10 that your stock opens.
