Hi @saxman. The trades you are seeing are executed by an algorithm on behalf of a brokers clients. Say a broker has an order to sell 500k shares at either vwap or percentage of daily volume then rather than have a human sit in front of a screen all day entering trades an algorithm is used to achieve the instruction. We probably aren't too many years away from Comsec and competitors offering a similar service for large retail orders. It's nothing to be afraid of!
