I am also a reasonably new trader in fx.

My trade risk is based on my money management, although the risk to reward ration is high, I also continue to pyramid my trades and change my stop loss and take profits on trades. the values I provided are my initial trade values.

My trade risk is never more than 5%.

This particular trade was based on a swing technique.

I have been playing arround with my own EA's on MT4.

Any EA you create is not an easy task if you wan't an automatic (aka robot) system.

Some of the things you need to consider are:
- money management rules;
- trade times (to avoid gaps)
- bar types (if using bars)
- and any other variables depending on what indicators you are trading on.
