May 6, 2011-Buyers returned to the spot uranium market this week signaling that several believe the spot uranium price may have bottomed. A total of seven transactions are reported for the week. Buyers included utilities, traders, and financial entities. Transactions concluded later in the week closed at higher prices than those finalized earlier in the week. As the week came to a close, some buying interest remained, but activity slowed primarily due to the growing price gap between willing buyers and willing sellers.
