whoops. You must be older than I thought. RTOs are registered training organisations and they’ve been around a long time. Delivering training that supposedly reflects the Australian qualifications framework ( or whatever they call it at any point in time) it has splintered the TAFE or VET system
I think some of the changes were an attempt at getting skill levels up and training in place but it’s a system fraught with problems. I’ve seen some hairy stuff
